Everything is finally turning green! It is so beautiful here with everything on the ground green and the mountain tops still white. I love the beauty I live around.

Today we saw 3 different bears all really close together and luckily they were around when we went and got our camera. So we now have some pics of black bears :) The 3rd one was too far away and you cant really see it in the picture so I didnt put it on here. Peyton kept calling them baby bears and wanted to go pet them...so sweet but...nope.

This one noticed Tairel taking pictures but just kept doing what it was doing. It was cool.

Here is a video. Its loud because there is a waterfall and big trucks driving nearby.

We love Spring/Summer!

We are totally enjoying spring/summer here in Alaska. Now that there have been warm, sunny days, we are out and about all the time now. Feel like a bear who just woke up from hibernation. Which, by the way we saw a junior sized bear today on the side of the road. It was very cute. Peyton asked to pet it but I told her that it wasnt a very good idea. I didnt have my camera with me though since it was just a typical morning of driving to town.

We have taken many drives, trips to the beach, went to the may day fly in & air show that our airport here does annually. We are excited for it to be summer and enjoy the daylight we have here. As of now, the sun comes up at 4:50am and sets at 10:30pm and dusk for a good while after that. In a month, it will rise at 4:00am and set at 11:20pm . It is definitely weird having to make yourself go to bed before it is even dark outside. Its been about 50 degrees here, which to us, is so warm. I love how no matter the weather outside, it stays pretty much the same temperature so our bodies can be used to it. I hated that in 2 days it could go from 40 degrees to 80 in Utah. Drove me nuts. I stole this from a friend but this is how green it gets here. I cant wait to see it for myself.

Tairels parents are coming up in a couple of weeks. Planning on going on a day glacier & wildlife cruise. We are hoping it is a beautiful sunny day for pictures...but guess we will see. Here are quite a bit of pics of everything we have been doing lately :) I am picture happy...so beware!
